I was born in a small town, everyone I know lives in a small town, and I will probably never leave this small town. My town is encased in cornfields on all four sides. That being said I can say that race has never been a major issue in my community, but it does exist without question. I would encourage more minorities to seek higher positions within the community. I would like to see more minorities inRace and my 6political positions within my community. I think that education and minorities in leadership roles would help to increase the tolerance.
My community is mostly white Americans. All of the people in leadership roles in my community are white. Despite these facts I do feel that race is a small issue within my community.
