Changing the oil is a simple maintenance job that I usually do for my car every 3,000 miles. There is only one reason why I love to do it by myself. That is the satisfaction of doing an important job with my own two hands and the fun of a weekend after a job well done. Many techniques I have read that show us how to change the motor oil is so complicated, or sometimes I don't understand at all. Here are five easy steps to the process of changing the oil and filter. I hope my procedure will be easy that everybody can follow and enjoy doing it at home on the weekend.

Fourth, begin pouring the new oil into the engine. Pour almost as many quarts as your owner manual state is the capacity. Then begin pouring the last quart while consistently checking the oil level of the dipstick. Be careful not to overfill the dipstick.

Finally, start your engine and check that your oil pressure is normal. Shut off your engine, wait a few moments and recheck your oil once more to insure that the oil that has filled the filter has not dropped the oil level too ...Essay still continues 100 more words...

I like how you put this process essay in a very easy to understand form. Just for a suggestion, it wouldnt hurt to add in a oil seal conditioner. The performance and mpg boost that that type of product will give you is absolutely unbelieveable.
